The following is a list of "Recommended" bargaining suggestions from the District 3 Wire Tech Committee:
Wire Technician Bargaining suggestions:
Section 4.05 add: No Employee will be scheduled to work more than thirteen (13) consecutive days nor be required to work six (6) days per week for more than two (2) consecutive weeks without his/her consent except where acute service conditions develop caused by fire, flood, storm, or other natural disaster.
Section 4.05 add: If the company utilizes a work group within a work reporting area to make a temporary transfer from, the remaining employees in that work reporting area will not be forced to work overtime without the employees' explicit consent.
Section 4.05B add: Vacation days to be included in the calculation of the forty (40) hour overtime threshold.
Section 4.08 add: Employees will be paid a differential of ten (10) dollars per day when being utilized as a “peer to peer” trainer.
Cost Of Living Adjustment
Section 4.01 revise: Employees will be guaranteed one (1) two (2) weekends off per month.
